Disneyland 2010

In September we took the kids to Disneyland (mainly to give them a break after Mommy was so grouchy during the last few weeks of her pregnancy with Leisy).

Here we are on our first morning. Sweet baby. 7 weeks old & first trip to Disneyland. We start them young in our family.

The day got progressively hotter (topping out at 113 degrees!) so we stopped for some cool treats.

These next pictures capture my memory of the kids riding the ladybug ride in California Adventure perfectly.

We went to the San Francisco bread company to watch how bread was made & at the end they gave each of the kids their own Mickey shaped loaf of yummy sour dough bread.

Micah was tall enough and got to ride The Matterhorn for the first time! (He wouldn't go a second).

Livvy's a pro and rode at least 10 times with Daddy.

It was a great vacation! We were glad to go as our little family.

Meeting Great Grammy Melton

We took the kids on a surprise trip to California to see our family there. Sara and Aunt Barbie kept the secret from Grandma Melton too! We stopped in St. George on the way down, stopped by the beautiful temple and relaxed in Kenny's parent's condo. Leisy was a big hit with everyone and we figured out she is Grandma's 99th great-grandchild! I love my grandma and am so grateful for her, my aunt and my cousins who let us come by for a visit.

Six weeks old!

Six weeks has gone by so quickly. She's getting so big, eating like a champ and starting to sleep almost throughout the night. I just love those sweet little cheeks!

Labor Day

Labor Day this year was really, really cold. Despite that, we still decided to head to Payson Lakes and go fishing. I guess the fish didn't know how cold it was either because they were out and biting. Everyone that fished caught one. It was Leisy's first outing and she was a champ. Bundled up she slept the whole time, well except for when she was eating! Grandpa won a kayak in a drawing and brought it with him. Mark took it out for a spin & each of the kids got a turn with him. Grandma and the kids had a fun time feeding the ducks. It was a fun day even if our noses were running and fingers & toes were cold.

I'm one month old!

Look at how much I have grown! I'm sleeping a little more each night, staying awake more during the day. I am starting to hold my head up, can focus on your face, and track your movment with my head . I love to eat and my favorite things are watching the fan spin and staring at anything black and white. I'm getting to be such a big girl!
