Lights at Temple Square

It's a family tradition to take a night and head up to Salt Lake. We eat a yummy dinner at the Lion House first and then stroll through Temple Square looking at all the pretty Christmas lights. It was a pretty cold night when we went, but we all enjoyed the time together and feeling the spirit of Christmas.

She's nuts!

So Livvy had the chance to go to the store with her Aunt Cari. While there Cari told her she could pick a treat if she was good. Livvy, of course, is never predictable when it comes to what she wanst. The very first thing she sees is a coconut. She's asks Cari what it tastes like. As she tries to explain, Livvy says to her, "actually, that is what I want for my treat". If you've ever met my sister Cari, she wil never say no to Livvy.
Little was I expecting Livvy to come home with a coconut. Kenny drilled holes in it, drained the "milk", broke it in half and gave it to Livvy to try. The end result......Livvy does not like coconut and I learned fresh "milk" from the coconut is not very appetizing.

Fall leaves

The kids had a great time helping their daddy rake up all the leaves. They are such little hams for the camera. Gosh I sure do love them!

Witches Night Out

Well, it was more like Witches Day Out since we left before it got dark and cold. Every year we enjoy going to Gardner Village and surrounding ourselves in Halloween! The weather was great this year and the little girls had fun dressing up as witches. I love October. It starts and ends with the best days of the year!

Another little Achiever

Micah started at Achiever Preschool this year. He has been looking forward to this ALL summer. Livvy started about a week ago, Micah was so upset he wasn't going yet as well. But you can see in the picture how happy he is now. I know he is going to be an achiever.

Pioneer Day Picnic

It was such a nice day for our Pioneer Day celebration we decided to take our lunch outdoors. We went the the park by the golf course and enjoyed the meal under a huge shade tree. Kenny took Livvy, Micah and our big black lab Molly for a walk in the river, while I relaxed with Leisy on a blanket. It was a wondeful time spent together as a family. Sigh, if only everyday could be so lazy.

Spanish Fork Splash Park

There's nothing like beating the heat of summer than packing a picnic lunch & heading to the splash park! The kids love running through the fountains and especially love sitting on them (gotta love those enemas)! Leisy even had fun. This little girl was crawling all over the cement to get to the fountains so she could "splashy splashy".

Munching on some cantaloupe.
Hamming it up for the camera
Wait for it....
Right in the face and she LOVED it!

Can't beat free bowling!

We signed up for the free bowling at Fat Cat's. Truth be told, it isn't exactly free. What they don't tell you is you have to pay for the shoe rental. But it's a small fee and the kids had a blast bowling. The best part was when they turned off the lights and we had Laser Bowling. I'm pretty sure Cody and Livvy both screamed initally!!Livvy's first bowl.
Micah rocking it out.

Kaylee bowled the whole time without the ramp.

Cody watching as he gets his spare.

The cheering section.

Take a look and see who the winner was....

Huntington Beach

We were able to spend the evening at Huntington Beach. The kids had a blast playing in the sand and running in the surf. We collected a few shells, got a little wet, a lot sandy and made some fun memories.
