Teach Me How to Shimmy

Livvy took dance this year at Central Utah Stars. She was in the Shooting Stars beginning ballet/jazz class. The best part about it was she asked to dance and actually went to class without crying! She even let me stay once to watch her practice!! Anyway, the studio participated in the Utah Valley Competition and Livvy got a trophy for performing. The dance is really cute and Livvy did a GREAT job.

Preschool Program

Livvy had her last program for Achiever's Preschool. Next year my baby is going to be a kindergartner! Where did the time go?

Of course, Livvy was the BEST performer in the program. She even got to hold the flag while the class recited the pledge of allegiance. Isn't she beautiful?

This is a self portrait from the beginning of the school year and one from the end. Also listed is how much they grew that year. Livvy grew almost 2 inches since August!

Livvy had a great time at preschool. She has learned to write her name, is getting reading down, knows her phone number, all her numbers, letters, shapes and colors (she's known those since she was 2 though...not to brag or anything). She loves rhyming, counting by 10's and too 100. She know lots of facts about amphibians, reptiles, dinosaurs, the seasons. Sometimes it amazes me how much she knows and with the deep thoughts she has. She is on her way to greatness!

Easter 2011

I love the first picture of the kids! They were so excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought them. Baby photo shoot!

We had a little photo shoot when Leisy turned 8 months old. Isn't she just adorable? Don't you just want to gobble her up? She is doing really good. She is starting to get 2 teeth on the top, she is weighing in at 15 lbs, 7 oz. She had her first ear infection, but handled it like a champ. She loves to chew on anything she can get her mouth on, is loving baby food and puffs. Still not wanting to crawl, but not a problem because once they're mobile they don't go back. She is the joy in our lives and everyone in our house loves her to pieces! What's not to love?

We spent a weekend at Meri's house watching the twins. While they took a nap, our kids piled on Daddy. I love all of these pictures because everyone has such a different expression in a matter of seconds. I especially love Livvy & Leisy in the second picture. Too cute!

The Luck of the Irish

The Leprechauns made a stop at our house!!! They played a few tricks on Livvy & Micah who tried to catch them in a trap. Did they stop by your house too?

Livvy's cavities

So we all went to the dentist recently. Micah & I had a perfect checkup, Kenny had 1 cavity, but we found out Livvy had 7 cavities! We made 3 trips to the dentists to get them all filled, here are some cute shots of her trying to smile after the novacaine and trying to drink from a straw. I laugh everytime I look at them! She was such a cutie with her slurred words and crooked smile.
