Ohio & Josh's Graduation

At the beginning of June, the kids and I flew to Ohio to visit my brother Josh and his family. It was the last time we'd be able to visit them there because they're moving to CO since Josh graduated from The Ohio States' Dental School and the Army wants him in the "Centennial State".
The plane rides to and from actually went fairly well (thanks to Benadryl on the return flight). It was hard to travel without Kenny, we sure missed him, but tried to enjoy ourselves.

Enjoying some yummy ice cream at Graeter's.

Doesn't Josh look like Chris Daughtry? During our stay McKennion, Kobe & Savannah had a triple birthday party. This is Nathan & Josh racing on the bouncers. Mom even got in on it! For once, Livvy actually ATE the cake as well as the frosting! Waving to her loyal subjects. I didn't get any pictures, but Kobe was also baptised and confirmed a member of the Church while we were there. I'm pretty proud of him for his choice!

The first pictures of Dr. Joshua Melton! Way to go! Don't count on me calling you Dr. Melton though, you'll always be Squashy Joshy to me.
I would have taken more pictures, but right after this pic the stomach flu hit me (as it did everyone else that weekend!) Nothing like vomit to ruin a party.
Thanks again Josh for letting us stay with you (especially since you moved like 3 days after we left!) And thank you Gretchen for all the YUMMY food, good thing I'm not watching my weight right now.

P.S. Loved the graduation gowns. One pic looks like pink & black & the other looks violet & black, either one is pretty cool.

aunt b- it was purple and black. the great thing is...Josh HATES the color purple and it's the national color of dentistry!!! If he had gone in the Air Force, he would have had to wear purple scrubs everyday on base!

So will he wear scrubs to work with the Army?
