My brother

This is my brother Josh (and cute niece Adeline). He's a pretty crazy brother, but I love him to death. I am so proud of him too. Next week we are flying out to Ohio to see him graduate from Ohio State's School of Dentistry. Pretty impressive huh?! Way to go Josh! I'm SOOOOO proud of you and can't wait to have you just a little bit closer in Colorado.

A sunny day, for once

It was sunny yesterday (not exactly warm, but I'm not complaining) so the kids begged Kenny & I to go fly kites. Spanish Fork is normally really windy, we had just a little bit yesterday enough to keep the kites in the air. Micah & Livvy loved it, even if they didn't understand the need to run against, not with, the wind to keep the kite up

Our day off together

Since Kenny works days and I work nights, we try to coordinate his day off with a night I don't have to work. This last day we decided to check out the big red barn in Santaquin. To be honest I wasn't that impressed with it, but we did see some llamas at the Krishna Temple on our way there.

Easter 2010

The kids had a lot of fun coloring eggs for the Easter Bunny to hide.

Easter morning brought snow, so the Easter Bunny hid eggs in the basement for the kids to find.

Not only that, but he brought some to Grandma's for Livvy & Micah to find once the sun came out and the snow melted.

It was a great time, and the kids got TONS of goodies.

Family Time

We spent a wonderful day together. The kids and I enjoyed the warm sunshine. We had a yummy dinner, followed by a walk and ice cream cones with Kenny. We decided to stay in and watch a movie so I picked a classic, Labyrinth. Don't you just love this movie! David Bowie at his finest.

I will admit, those Fiery characters scared me as a child. Actually, they're still kind of creepy.

Livvy

Last night we were heading to dinner and Livvy asked us, "Why were you & Dad married outside?" I replied back we weren't married outside, we were married in the temple. She asked why there weren't any pictures from inside the temple. I explained the temple is a sacred place and we don't take pictures inside it. Then she asked, "Were you married in a room in the temple?" I answered, "Yes, we were married in a sealing room." Her reply back was, "A ceiling room? Were you hanging upside down in there?" Gotta love the mind of a four year old!
