I'm one month old!

Look at how much I have grown! I'm sleeping a little more each night, staying awake more during the day. I am starting to hold my head up, can focus on your face, and track your movment with my head . I love to eat and my favorite things are watching the fan spin and staring at anything black and white. I'm getting to be such a big girl!

Introducing Elise Anne Greer

Hello world! Here I am only a few minutes old. I was born August 4, 2010 at 11:56 pm. I was three days late, but can you blame me? It was nice, warm and quiet inside Mom and out here is cold, bright and LOUD! I weighed 7lbs 4oz and I'm 19 inches longs. I have dark hair, which Mommy hopes stays dark. This picture of me isn't very attractive (thanks Mom), but if you scroll down you'll see that I clean up nicely. Mom and Dad keep telling me how happy they are I am here and my big sister & brother, Livvy & Micah, just think I am the cutest! I have to agree. Mom says I'm a good sleeper and I sure like this eating thing. But I am alert and love to look around at all the noises I hear. Keep watching Mom's blog for more updates on me. I'm only getting cuter!

7 Wonderful Years

THANKS FOR 7 GREAT YEARS!
We've had many adventures (many more to come!) and some ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Thank you for my (soon to be) 3 children and putting up with my mood swings. You are an awesome daddy and a magnificent husband. Thank you for all the hard work you do, especially while going to school at the same time.

I've been crafty

So I've taken up crochet. I have known how to since I was about 7, but just barely got back into it. I've made a few afghans, but decided to make my own headwrap instead of spending $12 on one at the mall. I've tried a few different styles, the large blue one Livvy is modeling is probably my favorite, but the picture doesn't do it justice.

In getting ready for the baby to come, I realized I didn't have a diaper bag anymore. So instead of buying one...I made one! It was pretty easy, Kenny thought it was amazing that I made it. I'm not the best at taking pictures, especially when there was nothing in the bag to hold it up, but it is pretty roomy with lots of pockets inside and out. I think the colors would suit either boy or girl and it's not too feminine Kenny won't carry it. Now it's just getting this baby here

Spanish Fork Children's Parade

Last Saturday was the Children's Parade. Livvy was nervous to be in it, Micah was excited! I convinced Livvy to be in it by telling her I would walk in it also. So I had my first parade experience. It was a fun little event. About a mile long route, but at the end there were popsicles and free activities for the kids. The highlight was getting faces painted. My highlight was Kenny had the day off of school and was able to spend it with us!

Greer Reunion 2010 Reid Ranch

The kids and I were able to spend a Friday night up at Reid's Ranch near Fruitland, UT, along with Kenny's family. Kenny didn't get to go because of work and school :(

The drive was a little confusing, but we made it and had a great time (aside from my constant coughing due to a lovely bronchitis....sorry to my roomies Seth & Nicole). We were the only family at the ranch which was nice. There was horseback riding, fishing, paddle boats, archery, two pools and a playground. Not to mention a mess hall and snack shack. The lodge we stayed in was huge! I think this would be a good place to bring a YW's group.

We continued the reunion on Sunday with church @ Mom & Dad Greer's and then a picnic in the park complete with styrofoam airplanes. (I don't have pictures of that unfortunately.) The reunion was a lot of fun and it was great to see Kenny's brother, Chip, his wife Stephanie and their family. They live in Texas and we don't get to see them often.

Can't wait to see what the 2011 reunion brings. No pressure Nate & Mary!
